So my wife wanted to see how I do my eBay searching and thought it sounded easy and fun. Well needless to say within the first hour my watch list was filled with AG Indians and corroded Large cents; which she pointed out was toned green After going through all the things she added to the list I asked her why she put this one in there and she said it had a funny post under the 4. So I bought it via auction for I want to say like $1.57 plus shipping. What do you think? Did my wife hit a home run or are we throwing it in the junk bag? I won't know until it's in hand but I've found one and even with it in hand I wasn't positive it was the overdate.
I think it's just grunge; the actual 1942/1-d has the "second post" appearing below and to the left of the main staff on the 4. But she's on the right track.
You guys.... your perspective is all screwed up. IF HIS WIFE IS INTERESTED IN COINS IT'S A HOMERUN! Now you can justify all the money you spend, BigTee44!
And from that statement I'm guessing that you are not married ? Rule #1 You never ever allow your spouse to know how much you spend on coins or how much they are worth! Unless you want to fund some new project around the house,at the sake of all coins you have stashed away. Besides...... That's the job of your estate attorney, and why he's has been paid ... besides at this point you're dead and no need to worry about anything as stated before you're dead she can't do anything . Well she can yell but again you're dead. Rule #2 When world's collide ....you're one passion in life is now not your passion any longer.... it's something shared ..... Nothing wrong with sharing right ?
