Is this considered FB? Mercury Dime

    I just had a thought. Dan wouldn't even need to fundamentally change the design AT ALL and that would be a first for him for an overstrike I think, aside maybe the 2009 ase but he changed the finish on that one and added his DC. Since, by design, every gold merc has no FB and mushy details all he would need to do is perfect the design and boom. That's his "signature" without need for the DC logo or changing the finish

    Honestly, I was wondering just_a_bit about the rims - seemed like it was struck so hard in the collar that the reeding impacted the whole rim in places - but it wasn't a big enough worry to affect my opinion of originality.
