Poking around in the LCS junk silver bucket this week. As soon as I saw In God We Trust, I knew something was up (the quadrupling is so strong the extra thickness is visible to the naked eye.) Thought I'd share it with the forum :)

EDIT: Thanks to @SuperDave for correcting me - it's not the TDO but the FS-105 QDO.

Very nice find!! I have one of those. I picked it out of junk silver as well.

I love going through the '64 Kennedy's, there are so many varieties to look for. I have several OMM and a couple DDO's and the TDO all in BU for melt.

And that's why you share - because someone will see what you missed. Thanks @SuperDave !

Your half dollar does look like the 64D DDO-005 (FS-105), but I don’t think there is a quadruple spread any where, It is a strong triple spread, see attached photos. I am not sure how and why the CPG calls this a quadruple spread, it is not. In the CONECA listing, James Wiles refers to it as a triple spread, not quadrupled. I see so many quad spreads (FS-105) for sale on EBay...that is very misleading.

I have to agree with you. I wonder, looking at the serifs atop the W and U, if they didn't see what looks to me like an "additional" curve and call that a fourth?

Heck, it's spectacular enough as a triple. :)
