I assume the "Z" replacing what appears to be "JI" on Adams' right lapel is your initial, but what is the significance of the "401" replacing "CLV" on his left lapel?

He must commute across Toronto on the 401. LOL

What do you base your work around?

A lot of my work is based on real subjects, such as a mother, father, etc..As i,ve stated before i,m slowing way down on carving coins, but i had a backlog of commssioned work, so i,m working it in..This week i,m carving a boy of 15 on a buffalo nickel, the subject is a drummer boy in the civil war from Ala. and was the man i,m carving it for, gg grandfather...The picture [ tintype] i,m using has the boy in civil war cloths taken about 1863..

That sounds like it will be cool. Be sure and post pics of it once you're done!

Another great carving Bill! Was your subject, President Adams' seafaring days when he was younger, sailing out of a Massachusetts harbor? If he ever did??!!
