    I'm thinking the hits are deeper and more numerous on Liberty's face and the fields are cleaner . But it's all subjective anyways .

    64 63 61. The first 21 has some major hits on the Eagles breast and enough cheek and neck chatter knocking it down to a 63 the second the obverse is beat

    @Cascade
    I guess I didn't take good enough photos of the reverse of coin #3,
    I wish the obverse looked more better IMAG2104_1.jpg

    That's stunning for a 21. Reholder that girl with the reverse facing out. She's a total butterface and that bird is gorgeous :)

    Butter face, I've never heard that one used to describe a coin b4, that's sort of a favorite term down here in the sticks

    Edit:Butter face= Everything looks good but her face
    It's past my bed time and I've had too many Millers TTYL

    Roots Fest? I had the day off, and usually walk Downtown on one of my days off - can't go two days without exercise at the level of conditioning I maintain - but I didn't even walk out the damn door today as that was on my route. Wasn't going near the river today. Hope it doesn't rain tomorrow as in the forecast, because if I don't get 10 miles or so in I'll be cramping at work on Monday.

    No this was at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden NJ. We were right in front of the Battle ship NJ. On top of the hill.
    A radio station had actually put on the concert and my company along with the USO put together a nice treat for 50 active duty service men and women and their spouses.
    It was a long day 8 am to 8 pm then driving back to Baltimore .
    Lot's of fun though walking the parking lots for 2 hours giving away swag gifts,up grade concert seats.,and meet and greet ,back stage passes.
    I will post some images later.

    Morgans are my passion. I've been studying them on ebay and coin shows for years. I've also been studying grading. What really bothers me is the inconsistency of professional grading services. I see a lot of Morgans graded 64, 65, 66 that all show significant wear and also a lot graded 60,61 that look like proofs. Some of this has to do with luster, quality of strike and eye appeal but in spite of all that, coins with MS grades are supposed to show no wear at all. I also think grading services are to damned snobbish about whether a coin has been cleaned.

    You could start your own grading service...probably do it for under $1M
