Hi, I'm new to the forum and coin searching in general. I started to research specific coins prior to sorting through a few rolls. I know this is a rare coin and most rookies would think they found the holy grail as soon as they start. But after finding about 10+ other pennies from this year, none seemed to match the pictures of 1964 SMS's I have seen. So what do you guys think?
Lord no.. What There were a handful made dated 1964. Now everyone thinks they've hit the lottery when they find a nice 1964.
I believe there is a member on this forum by the "name" of Giorgio11. He has extensive knowledge on the 1964 SMS coins. He shares this info gladly and freely which has been my personal experience. These coins are VERY VERY rare, less than 20 known of any denomination. Hopefully he will join us on this thread.
Does not have any characteristics of a 64 SP Lincoln...worth $.01. V D B coins is thebest source for info on these SP coins.
