Like the title states, is this Engelhard bar real or fake? I guess since my last purchase was a 1 Kilo bar it seems rather small to me. I have checked websites to try to input the serial number with no luck. Does anyone have any information about this? Is there a site where I can input the Serial Number to verify if the bar is fake or not? To me the bar just seems smaller than what I am accustomed to. Let me know your thoughts on this matter. Thanks in advance. 20160603_080252.jpg 20160603_080307.jpg 20160603_080317.jpg 20160603_080331.jpg

On the portrait varieties, which one did you choose and compare the bar with? I am asking to see if I am looking at the same thing you are. Thanks.

If it seems small to you, maybe weigh it?

Imagine 10 Silver Eagles - will they fit in the volume of that bar?

It looks like it'll be a tight squeeze - that is, if it's exact or too small

But to echo others, make sure to weigh it - it should weigh 10 troy oz...

    Or, 10.9714 standard oz. = 311.035 grams.

Looks legit to me - but I would also take it to my LCS shop so they could use their magic gun on it. Here are a couple of 10 oz'ers I have - just to see the comparison between poured and flat bars. I personally(and I don't know why) like poured bars the best.

I weighed it on a stamps.com scale that had a 0.1 oz Accuracy printed on it. It came out to 11oz. When I weight my other Engelhard bards they weighed the same thing...so i guess it is legit. I also try the magnet and it worked too. Thanks for everyone's input.
