I have this beautiful coin, but I am not confident about my 'attribution'. Can anyone help me, please? MAURYA 185-168 B.C. Taxila - Pushkalavati Obv:Elephant walking right, three hills and crescent above. Rev:Lion walking left, three hills and crescent above in front, with swastika above. Copper, 1½ Karshapana, 28mm., 11.6gm., Ref: MA-4401vl
Attribution appears to be correct - although I don't have that reference. This would be classified as a post-Mauryan civic issue of Taxila, Pushkalavati. When the Mauryan empire collapsed their vassals began to strike and cast their own coins. Yours has some nice Chaitya. Your denomination is also correct with the accepted dates.
