I have a new light and it is messing with the pictures but this is a ddr of the arm on the outside. Usually the doubled dies I've seen are of the coat tassels. First I've seen of this much of the arm.
You mean the small Gap? Do you have a picture of a normal image to compare and tell us the exact area? I don't know much about these DDR's on the new Quarters.
This will be a new DDR and I put an circle around the area . Wexler DDR-003 is in the same area . Here's the link to wexler site . http://doubleddie.com/1916904.html
I'm going to send this to Wexler this week. Just curious, any advice on any kind of info to put in with it? His site says exactly how to submit but doesn't give info on if I should include a letter explaining anything.
Yes, tell him this : Description: A small extra piece of fringe can be found below the fringe on the frontiersman’s coat at the intersection of the upper right arm and the coat.
Just got an email back. Really fast turn around! Hello Michael, I have processed the coins that you submitted for attribution in a package postmarked June 7, 2016. The 2015-P Nebraska quarter is 2015-P 25¢ NE WDDR-146 which is a new listing for my files. The 2016-P Kentucky quarter is 2016-P 25¢ KY WDDR-004 which is a new listing for my files. Congratulations on the two new listings. They will be illustrated on the appropriate page of my website the next time that I update the site. If you should decide to send any of the coins to ANACS to be slabbed with the Wexler File numbers, be sure to include a copy of this letter along with the coins. Good luck with all of your collecting efforts. Sincerely, John A. Wexler
I'm borderline giddy about it. While reading the email I started saying Holy crap, this is great! My girlfriend is getting just as excited thinking I hit the lottery lol. When I told her what was going on she says, "You're such a dork!". Haha I just accept it now. No need in fighting it.
