So anyways gentleman.. correct me if I'm wrong here...Matte is the Dull finish that absorbs light, rather than reflect it, correct? And Satin is a Shiny, smooth Sheen that evenly reflects the light, but not to the point of a high gloss, correct? I mean I could be wrong with my definition, but as a occasional painter, I've come to know that difference. In terms of coins, the 2005..for example.."Satin" SMS coins are in fact Matte in appearance, right? For whatever reason, when it comes to my definition (along with Webster), Satin is Matte according to you guys in the coin world?

You know I'm sure that the 65-67 SMS Satin finished sets aren't dull by any means. That's a true comparison as that would be why this was struck in a different finish. Not new bullion bars. Satin metals are actually quite reflective as well. Look at brushed steel and aluminum and satin Nickel interior accents.

Funny you couldn't tell without knowing the year but as soon as that was posted it's plain as day. I'm quite amused by your ridiculous attitude but its certainly a love hate kind of amusement.

My original point is how fast your response changed when you knew it was a 64. It was in an entire set held in an SMS holder with these.. Screenshot_2016-05-27-20-55-12.png Screenshot_2016-05-27-20-55-26.png IMG_20160527_005047.jpg

I appreciate a good tune when I hear it. The Beatles MADE the music world what it is who doesn't like the Beatles !? Coins aren't the only thing I appreciate from 1964.
