    good eye.. yes it is the same coin.. and everyone did agree on ms 63... LOL just goes to show how grading opions are subjective!!!

    i'll stay with the 63..

    i took a few more pictures... the coin looks better in hand, cant seem to capture the luster that is on the obv. the way it really looks!!


    anyways.. this has been an interesting thread.

    i call the coin amus au+ms!!

    That PCGS graded coin does not look MS64 IMO. There appears to be wear on Miss Liberty's hairlines over the ear. I am observing the same problem when I look at the pictures of your coin. Maybe PCGS feels that the lack of definition in the hair is due to a weak strike and therefore concluding the coin is uncirculated? I will admit that the reverses of both coins due look mint state.

    Still hard to tell. I think the reverse looks better than the obverse.

    Au-50/MS-61 to me, very random coin, obverse cleaned.
