I have purchased from this seller before, a 1913 buffalo nickel, picture was equally as brilliant "looking" the coin I received looked like it had spent a week on the interstate highway... bag marks to high heaven... luckly it wasn't a rare coin per say but was still soaked for about $75 on a coin worth maybe $15.00...

    GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.....

He did give a full refund minus shipping, but still... A RAT in my book...

Look at his other stuff. Either he has some of the greatest looking stuff-- or he is a rat.

These pictures remind me of the ones greatsoutherncoins used to use on Ebay. I never bought from them because I did not think the pictures reflected what the coin should look like. I am not saying this coin or the ones from greatsouthern are good or bad. I do not bid on anything that has pictures that make the coins look like this - of course I probably miss some good coins because of it, but why take the chance. Even with a good return policy it just becomes too much of a hassle. I bought one from one dealer who has pictures like this - the coin was nice, but not the grade it was sold at. So I overpaid a little(maybe $10) for a coin, still it was not a bad coin. Just my thoughts!

I question the toning on his coins. Everynow and then he will have a run of 10 or so coins that have nice toning until you look closely. It apperars his coins are dipped, then toned, and lightly dabbed with a textured cloth. Look through his past auctions and you will see the pattern. I will give him a A for coming up with a way to AT coins, and a D for someone to take a chance with.
