Just saying what I saw , also that the quality isn't what I thought it was . I was complaining in an earlier thread how the mints gold dime and quarter don't have the quality of the originals , Yours seem to be even lacking more detail .
As for whether you're flooding the market with them , we'll see how the prices hold up in 25 years .

No he doesn't as he's selling rounds for way over melt and making a nice living , I just wish he'd stay with his fantasy pieces as there are one or two I like .

By your measure Morgans are a bust as well. Their approximately 25 year ago prices didn't hold up at all

 

I don't follow Morgans , but I just sited something I noticed visiting Mr. Carrs sight . It's just an observation nothing more . Heck if I knew the markets and how they react , I'd be a billionaire which I'm not .

I know it was a silly pot shot, was just pointing out that threshold puts a lot of classic things in a bad light. We both know there are far to many factors in play to predict pricing 25 years from now on any coin.

 

Now this one has some nice detail on it , and nice for a club piece . I wish Mr.Carr could explain why CNC engravers and computer scans cause a loss of detail on coins , like the lack of stripes and bars on the shield and also why the MInt can't seem to get FSBs on their Mercury gold coins ?

Your Mercury does , but you didn't answer my question as I was referring to the lack of shield lines and general weakness in your Barber coin . Is the weakness inherent in THE COMPUTER SCANS AND CNC machines used or did you touch up the merc by hand ? also your thoughts on why the mint couldn't or wouldn't touch up the bands at least .

 

More than likely they didn't deem it important or it was just easier not to.
