The Washington State quarter series seemed to interest a lot of people, and I suspect brought some new blood into the great hobby of coin collecting. Post a State quarter that you enjoy the design of. While we're at it, feel free to mention some favorite designs, and some designs that you think are unappealing. Here's a favorite of mine, the Oregon design. The images are by Bob Campbell, and I think he did an excellent job.
I kinda like the Indiana quarter. For the longest time I thought the thing on the reverse was some kind of WWI machine gun. Upon closer examination, I saw it was a race car (Indy 500).
Well, my 2 sets were toning nicely in their ridiculously oversized albums (last I checked) I guess I'll hafta dust it off and see how they are progressing.....
Never heard of it, I'm sorry. We're more of a European product/company household here, so Formula 1 fits the void.
The 2000 USA unc. Mint set one from Philadelphia one from Denver each an error pack . Denver has 2 Maryland and Philadelphia has 2 Virginia .
I don't really have any favorites, just liked the set. But my daughter LOVES bears, so the Alaska is her favorite......
