I am not sure what to make of the two issues on this coin at the last T in Trust and below the bust. Are these plating issues, or something else going on. Thanks.
I'm guessing plating bubbles or a similar manifestation where the layers no longer adhere to each other and the outer layer "wandered" somewhat during the last milliseconds of the strike.
Whatever caused all of its interesting manifestations, seemed to have originated at the time of minting, except for the corrosion. A very interesting coin!!
