Major fan of Latvia ... i think recently they have had a lot of their coins minted by Finland and in my opinion finnish mint makes some of the most spectacular looking coins around...
I have some russian and polish...there are some outstanding polish coins. This is one of my favorite coins...
Drusus, that's a very nice 10 Zlotych you've got there. It would be cool if Tom (nhariel) was on board,as this would be right up his street. Aidan.
I'm a huge fan of this coin in particular, I can't get enough of the portrait. Have been looking for a good example for awhile now.
The only Polish issues I have are some from the 1500s-early 1600s struck for the Duchy of (later East) Prussia and Royal (later West) Prussia. -Preussen
I agree, its a great design...its a pretty big heavy coin as well...sadly my example isnt in that great of shape so I am still looking for a one that is free of nicks
Preussen,I thought that you'd be looking for some of the Lodz Ghetto coins for your collection. Aidan.
Aidan; The ghetto coins are probably extremely interesting, but unfortunately I know nothing about them -Preussen
The first one is Ivan the Terrible. The rest are of 1615-1645 period (Mikhail Fedorovich) and 1696-1717 (Peter 1). These are not Denga these are Kopecks.
