Also it is Doubled not Double.. big difference I want to share this webpage with you - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doubled_die Quote - "Note that the proper terminology for this occurrence includes the letter 'd' at the end of the first word, hence "doubled die". The term "double die" without the first word ending in 'd' is not proper numismatic terminology." closed quote
I said thanks wasn't intended to be smart I was thanking him on the grammer lesson that I didn't know about so i wasn't trying to be a smarty cause I am new to this and will take all the advice I can get thank you
GRAMMER has nothing to do with information about a coin - OK? Sorry if you took it the wrong way! I'll always try to help as long as your questions ask for such!
Well grammer did have something to do with it cause I had double die and not doubled die and the guy gave me a web site to go by on why the d was important at the end so I was just thanking him cause the grammer was wrong on my post.
And I'll never be a smarty about anything I know nothing about. Why make the people on here to help me mad wouldn't be wise on my part if I really wanna get in to this so sorry to all of y'all if it came of wrong
Lol I know spelling isn't my subject lol and if I knew a way yo take them better with a cell phone cause that's all I got to take pics with sorry.
That was a pretty cool response - actually it was a wonderful response! Sorry if I wrote anything you took as negative!!
My picture quality well sucks as well. I have a digital camera but for now have no way to upload the photos. So like you I use my cell phone, try this. Use a stable self supported light source you'll have to experiment with it & use a 10 power loupe for close ups. Like I said mine suck also but I'm improving some as I go.
Thank you and no hard feelings here just wanting to learn and very into this new world lol and yea all I got is a magnified glass I live in backwoods ga so can't find no one who sells loops so if you know a good website to buy one let me know and thanks for the advise everyone
Pick out one. http://m.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=jewelers+loop&_pgn=1&_sacat=34084&cnm=Loupes+&+Magnifiers
I just use my wife's, she's into gemstones me the coins. Any jewelry supply or coin supply will have them. It's been years since I bought them but they're relatively inexpensive.
