BN large cent. The coin is evenly colored chocolate brown on both side with no green corrosion spots. IMG_4299.JPG IMG_4301.JPG IMG_4310.JPG IMG_4284.JPG

A smidge more luster on the obverse and it'd be a 65. The reverse has it for sure. Great great coin!

Just kidding, but when I saw the header on your post I thought maybe you found a likeness of Christ or something similar. :);)

I still look for the Virgin Mary in my Corn Flakes. Lots of money for that on eBay.

Nice Hersey Kiss. I just had a thought, are there any known large cents graded RD?

Yes, but I don't believe in 100+ yrs old original RD copper coins. IMO, chocolate BN color with no corrosion spots are very tough to find, and if you found one the seller is asking for 2 arms + 1 leg.

I'm curious, can you indulge what you gave? It's a great coin.
I recently been adding some large cents & Barber dimes to my collection. I have to agree most the real nice BN''s (cents) are going at a big ticket, so it seems to me.

It's one of the better I've seen over the past few months. I recently saw a AU, so the seller claimed (is possible though) go for I believe $450 although that particular was on ebay. I don't think it was graded either, was last week.

Stunning coin with an absolutely razor-sharp strike. I love it. :)

What? @Dancing Fire paid over bid for a coin? What's next? Mass hysteria? Cats and dogs living together? ;)

Nice. I'd call it a better 64. I think we'll worth over bid
