    BBW's is one of the nicest I haave seen with that decorated elephant. This come with many different monograms or letters. Doe anyone know their meaning?

    Beautifull coins, esp. the shape, design. I do not have any Bactrian coins, now I really want some! Yes, armour was needed to protect elephants from arrows, spears, elephant formations were used by the ancients to punch thru enemy infantry, much like the WW2 panzer divisions.
