A 1938 is a pretty decent find. What condition is it in? Is that 1942P a silver war nickel or just a regular nickel?

Silver nickels have a large letter above the Monticello. Also, they were the first nickels to have a 'P' mintmark.

yes i checked and it is a wartime nickel

 

nice find! those war nickels are worth around 75 cents. how many rolls did you search?
