I found this on Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2015-Struck...gn-Coin-Coa-/181975816301?hash=item2a5e9a986d mintage- 400. not sure if that helped ?
The Royal Mints mintage figures seem to end at 2013, I guess it will take us a few years to find out at actual number. The Pert mint was selling one of them and had noted a mintage limit of 4600, not sure if it reached that or not though. http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalogue/2015-uk-gold-proof-quarter-sovereign-coin.aspx
I guess I will have to wait. That link is for the 1/4 Sovereign in proof. I added a few of the regular mint state full Sovereigns last year dated 2015 and I have yet to see them offered for sale on eBay anywhere.
Yea that was the only one I was able to find with any sort of hard limit or mintage posted anyway in my quick search. I guess it makes sense though, how is someone else supposed to know if the mint itself doesn't have the numbers on their site. I guess you could try calling as a long shot
I sent them an email from work today, -we'll see if they reply. By mid-May you would think that number would be rather well established for 2015 in terms of how many they shipped.
Hopefully they respond. I am curious what the answer is now and really surprised their info stopped so long ago on their site
From the mint: Dear Mr XYZ- Thank you for your enquiry of 17 May which has been forwarded to the Museum for a response. Unfortunately, owing to the way that the Mint produces and sells coins, figures for non-circulating 2015 dated coins will not be available until early 2017. Yours sincerely
Maybe, though I kind of doubt it. I would think A-Mark and the other big players would insist on 2016 dated coins for bulk orders, and it doesn't look like they are selling them on their own website. Meanwhile, I saw these at the RBM site. Pretty cool! https://www.royalmintbullion.com/Pr...&utm_medium=inline&utm_campaign=trm-microsite
I would think so too, but I also wouldn't think that it would take over a year to make the final mintage figures available
