Found in a roll of Half Dollars - need help identifying

I found this today in a roll of halves. it was obviously in the roll before even opening as it's 1 or 2 mm. larger in diameter. This is a cast piece of tin or pewter, there's a seam around the edge, and the remains of a mount are at 12 o'clock.

Seriously though, it has Latin text, and appears to be for or of a local saint. I am sure some Catholics can shed some light. Nice find!!
