    Thank you for the new display. What you show seems to be Machine Doubling and looks like what I've seen labeled as "multiple machine doubling in one direction."

    I've been looking at a case of Multiple Machine Doubling in One Direction which look very similar to the coin at hand.

    My question is this: is the mark between the P and L of PLURIBUS a die gouge or a plating bubble? Has that been resolved?

    These doublings look more like obesity.

    You are correct, it's a die gouge and I've seen this one for sale on ebay as a DDR too.

    Not sure what it sold for and it was in a 7 day auction .

    The split on the L of lbj initials looks like a hit. Notice the L is not wider than a normal one.
