In all honesty, any amount received over and above the costs associated with the grading fee's is profit.

"Maximized" profit is reserved for professional sellers.

I think she should get it into PCGS Plastic and auction off on Great Collections. It seems that more serious collectors will bid the coins true value than taking a chance on eBay regardless of the starting price.

It was a helluva find and I'm seriously jealous but then I just do not have the patience to browse countless thousand of lincoln cents in the hopes that I'd find something as sweet.

It took some extraordinary effort on my part just to go through the rolls of uncirculated Lincolns I've accumulated over the years even though I did get lucky with a 1947 DDO. I still have rolls I've not gone through and I definitely applaud Sheila's efforts as it will pay off for her handsomely.

That is, unless she gets bitten by the collector bug. Then all bets are off.

I am sure it was "pick a finger" as middle finger was extended....single and alone.

Sheila, I hate to tell you, but they're way out of line. Having said that, you do want to sell that listing with the coin, as there are people out there who will take it seriously. Sometimes you have to wait a little on them, but they'll show up.

Lol, I will see if I can sell it. But hey, if I can't, then I still have a gem! It does take a lot of effort to find genuinely good coins. I do want to start a collection one day. Right now, I just enjoy learning about numismatics and going through coins.
