The penny is darkened in the picture it looks much more silver like in real life. Anyone know if this is real or a fake

Sure.... why not? Seriously though, I suppose I can see why someone new would start multiple threads in different forums, not sure where is best or simply trying to get as many eyes on it as possible. Necessary, no, but no harm no foul imo.
