I ran across this in a roll I purchased today. What type of error would this be? Im guessing a lamination error but im big on second opinions. It's not for sale but I would like to know a value if anyone has any ideas what it's worth. TIA

Not trying to be a smart ass by no means. Did you look at all of the pictures?

    Ok. It's 2 to 1. I'll take your word for it...lol
It just looks to me to be raised where the letters on the reverse are missing. Almost looks melted where ONE should be.

It could have been heated by someone, but it's not a lamination.

It may very well be raised. It took some kind of hit.

The proof that it's postmint damage is that the obverse hit affected the reverse. A lamination - or anything else that happens inside the Mint - won't affect both faces like that.

There's too much damage to blame it on a lamination error. It shows no evidence of tears in the metal. There are clear images on the face including a well define el in Lincoln's jowls that look a little like a clash---but minor to the rim loss of the obs on east and west and deep gauging of the lower part of Lincoln that shows up in the second picture. You say there were four pictures: I only found three; but I hardly think anyone would consider this as being an attractive buy.
