1964 d penny

    I have a 1964 d penny with the front side right side up and the back side it upside down. Is there any value to this coin?

    What you are describing is called coin orientation. That is the way the US mints its coins. Other countries use medallic orientation where the obverse and reverse are orientated the same.

    Thank you. I was going through some old boxes of my grandmothers and this penny was taped up like it was special. That just goes to show how much i pay attention. LOL..... Thank you.

    I corrected that. I posted off my smartphone and stupid autocorrect put in metallic. I saw it too late to stop the original post

    Thank you for correcting quickly. I typed medallic and phone thought metallic was a better spelling.. LOL
