1953-D Wheat (Woodgrain?)

    Anyone know much about the "wood grain" pennies? I can't remember the proper term for this but I know I've heard of them. Does this boost the value of the coin? Just getting back into collecting.     They are referred to as "Woodies" by some. Minor collectability.
