What do you think? Is this a doubled die, I tried to image "notches" but not much luck. Hope these 3 images help. Part of me sees machine doubling, and part of me sees a true DDR. Thank you in advance.

Also on the lettering, the main part is thinner due to the MD than the thickness of the arms going perpendicular. With a true DD, where you see the doubling , it would be thicker. MD.

    Thanks folks!! MD it is.
Question, take for example the letter "E", do you mean that the upright back of the letter is thicker than the three horizontal arms? Or do you mean the thickness of the glyphs (comparing the MD, to the non-doubled original portion?)?
