I've heard that some vintage holders are worth some money, I'm not sure what 3rd party grading group this slab is. Got this for 20 bucks.
Pretty tough to tell by the photo, needs some contrast for detail. Yes, the Obv/Rev grading disappeared rather early as difficult to compare pricing on coins since most collectors valued the obverse higher than the reverse. Couldn't just average them for a magazine listing.
Looks similar to WMP, but not quite like it. https://forums.collectors.com/messageview.aspx?catid=26&threadid=750716&highlight_key=y&keyword1=wmp
I'll add that for $20 you got a great deal, even if the coin was raw. In that slab I'd estimate it's in the 40-75 range.
I'd argue the coin is raw and that the plastic and label around it should be considered strictly an exonumia item.
AL slabbed coins could be considered raw. Unless, of course, folks enjoy sipping from the TPG's koolaid cup.
Closer match would be USTI, US Tangible Investment. Front label style looks identical, but the back label should not be blank.
