I picked this up at a garage sale for $15.00

Since then I have had offers almost twice the amount I paid !!! ; )

Think I'm gonna spend it, kind of short on cash right now.

    Aidan,

I apologize, that post was supposed to be funny.(guess my sense of humour stinks) Anyway, that is not my coin, it is actually a photo from PCGS, so I assume it is real. An authentic one is worth thousands of dollars!

My 2006 20th Anniversary ASE sets. I wish I had bought thirty sets last year at his time. I would have realized 10 times my investment by this point. Hard to argue with that kind of return in that short of a time.

I took a little trip into the future to price some coins. Having returned, I can tell you that morgan and peace dollars of virtually all types have really gone up in price out there.

Edit - For clarification, this is a hell of a cherrypick. On the off chance that someone can ID it, I'll tell you a bit more about it.

i bought a 1924S peace dollar at an antique store for $14. it shows in the redbook its worth around $30 in its condition. i've also bought a fine example of a 1936D washington quarter for $2.50.

I've pciked up a bunch of deals over the past couple years on Ebay including:

    1829 Large Cent VF-20 ...$11.00

    1832 Half Cent F-12 ...$33.00

    1870 Indian Head Cent G-4 ....$24.00

    1864 Indian Head Cent with L G-4 ....$20.00

    1864 Confederate $100 note AU .... $35.00

There's a lot of good deals out there if one has the time and patience to search and bid on Ebay! :D

Is it just me or does it have the 1809 reverse?

    Fish Half Cent Nut

That's not it, but you're on the right side anyways. Perhaps if you were to look at some other 1808/7 half cent reverses...
