Interesting, I'm going to do some research of my own. I have a Carthage coin of my own; it's in very poor condition and I could nevrr figure out what I had but with the extremely knowledgeable people on this site they told me what I had (I wish it was in better condition). My coin was from the 2nd Punic war circa 203-201BC 1/2 shekel, reduced standard?, wreathed head of Tanit; horse standing right; head left, raised foreleg. I was given more information but you probably know what I'm going to say. I wish my piece of history was in better condition. They are beautiful coins. Thanks for sharing your unfo. Ive got to learn more, maybe someday I could find a coin that wont break my bank. Thanks again.
