Why should it be "odd" that someone is not interested in varieties?

I love Vams, especially the ones that add lots of value to the coin .

Get as much bang for your bucks as possible ...

If I start to care about VAMs, I'll start to learn about VAMs. Then I'll look for VAMs. Then I'll find VAMs. Most likely then, I'll start to buy VAMs. I can't afford VAMs, so I don't care about VAMs.:wacky::confused:

?, speaking for the countless others who don't want to waste their time responding to a seemingly hilarious question.

Anybody that collect Morgan or Peace Dollar, should look for vams, it's just an extra bonus ...

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I don't collect Morgans or Peace, so I don't care about VAMs ;)

If that's your thing, have fun - but anything you need a microscope to see just isn't worth it, in my opinion.

Why do you think you need a scope to see a Vam .
A 10x works fine and the scope is just for images to show everybody .

Have you ever been to a coin show, so what do you think everybody runs around with scopes ?

Just like these images, I only use the scope to show all of you .

    Easy to see with a 10x .

I like the idea of added value, but they're not for me. I've honestly tried. But if you like them, more power to you.

I just like a nice looking dollar, the tiny practically microscopic differences in each coin mean much to me :)

I plan to start before selling my collection. It will be fun. Don't have the time right now to study it but I'm thankful to friends like messydesk and other folks here that have made it easy for me in the future.

Rick Snow has made it easy to learn FE's and IHC's. The learning has been fun.

My next fun will be picking back up on Seated dimes and half dimes. It's important that I understand what's new before it sells.

It's all fun but tough to worry about everything at the same time. As Jason said, just have fun.
