    Thanks Doug.

It was the nice looking reverse that called to me. For the price (less that $10) it was not a coin I could walk away from despite the difficulties with the obverse. I find that I am buying coins that allow me to tell a story about them more and more. This must be your influence wearing off on me. I just need to find the discipling now to write some of it down and share it online though I am not as erudite as you. I must also find the discipline to walk away sometimes. I find myself buying coins to give them a good home rather than for any other compelling reason.

    Ho hum, The hoard grows.

When it comes to an original and distinctive style, the four officinae of Alexandria from this period are hard to beat. My favorite is my A workshop. Notice all of these show the horse hanging his head below the groundline.
