    I just picked up these four rolls of coins from my local branch I wanted to know your thoughts before I open them they look labeled this is very exciting Bicentennial uncirculated according to the rapper what is everyone's thoughts before I open?

    They are put together rolls, most likely by a collector that pulled them from circulation early

    When you open them don't mix the coins from the different rolls together. If they are of 'original roll' quality they may have toned together uniquely. Some collectors like this consistency if you decide to sell them intact at some point.

    I looked at the end of the two marked bicent UNC, and confirmed the were in fact bicentennials. They were. Their condition did look UNC with one exception they were not all that shiny however, they were visibly free from scratches. I only looked at the top and bottom of the roll and did not remove them from the roll.

    Even if all unc, chances are you're, unfortunately, looking at very little in the way of premium-worthy material. Between the high mintages and the fact that they were saved in extremely high numbers, there's an overabundance in higher grades and more than enough to quell any real collectible demand now or in the foreseeable future.

    Don't be afraid to open the rolls.
