1942 Australian Shilling - Broken Back Error?

    Is this a broken back error? From the ones I've seen online, the bottom part of the back is missing a device. Does this fit the bill? I've included below three photos of the same coin at slightly different angles.

    Is this supposed to be a polished die error?
    Just asking, It reminds me of a 2005 bison rev.

    Your post says Australia but this coin is from New Zealand.

    Yep I meant NZ. Australia is the other coin I bought.

    Yes! I knew it looked like it. And original luster to boot.
