I came across this listing on ebay. 2004-D Wisconsin .25 Extra Leaf Low Down NGC MS64 What is remarkable about it is the 36,000 character, 6,300 word description of the auction, most of which is fairly incoherent rambling. Is there some sneaky purpose of including all this garbage in an Ebay auction description or is it just weird?
Does all that rambling actually help to sell the coin?... I imagine that most people don't read any of it. By the way, for modern collectors, I think these are great varieties.
Half the problem is formatting. If the clippings were sexier and looked like actual news clips, he might have actually succeeded in hooking an otherwise uninterested buyer. I agree, now it's just something to skip over
I think they did it just to hype up their coin, instead he created an auction that nobody is going to read and just wasted their time.
I like these too.. Everyone knows they're not leaves by now hopefully. They are still cool. I also liked the silver surfer.
15 negs & 25 neutrals! No S/H stated. BTW my character counting program says he only used 30,465, in 6,450 words. <giggle>
