Steel pennies

    Hello all, I have a couple questions regarding steel pennies. My grandmother has three of them and no one is certain on what they are valued at. We asked someone else who collects coins and they said that they too! have a few steel pennies making them not as rare as others say they are. So I has looking for a few other opinions.

    IMO, only worth a few cents each, unless they are in mint state and have not been replated would they have any value, i have a few hundred found roll searching and you can buy them by the bagful on ebay...

    Alright cool, thanks for the reply. I'll be having more questions there is a pretty big list of coins we're going through, so we're trying to figure out what's what.

    Circulated steelies command a premium over other circulated 40s and 50s wheats. But not a ton.
