Verdigris Funk on my New Zealand Maori Head Token?

New Zealand, Milner & Thompson, Undated, Christchurch Maori Head Token. Anyone know how to get this verdigris off the reverse of this token? Looks like Copper to me. Anyone?

Yes, I've heard about it plenty. Anyone here ever try it? If you've never heard of the Maori head collecting and trading, it's very interesting...

Can't help you but I love the token.

 

Definitely a candidate for VerdiCare. It will still have a spot where the green is growing (some damage has been done, I'm sure), but it will at least arrest any additional damage.

For something that bad, acetone and a toothpick then verdicare. Or verdicare spot treatment and rub with a toothpick.

 

i've used verdicare with quite a bit of success...i'll endorse it a well.
