Grade this 1909-S Indian Cent

    There's nothing that can save that. I think you've got a genuine one, though, struck a hair off-center, and with some nice "Longacre doubling."

    Now that Frank called it Questionable , I don't like the Date . The 2 9s look different but this may be from the angle of the pic . Anybody else ?

    My advice, for what it's worth: Send it to NCS for conservation and then grading by NGC.

    I seriously doubt NCS would even take this coin on. It's had a previous cleaning and the corrosion is just too advanced. NCS won't conserve every coin, only coins that they feel they can "help".
