Why there is a need to create a separate forum for New Zealand coin collectors? Is it a requirement that the collector should belong to New Zealand before he/she can join this new forum.

I have collected New Zealand coins (by date) issued before 1970 and completed my series for every denomination. The only missing coin in my collection is Waitangi Crown which I hope to add someday (I believe in "The joy is in the hunt!")

Ballabh, the 1935 Waitangi Crown is an extremely scarce coin. The Threepence for that year is quite scarce,& very sought after. You'd be more than welcome to join it.I only found out about it just under 2 weeks ago.

In the pre-decimal series (1933-65),there are a number of key varieties that are of interest to collectors.

Yes Aidan, I have met Shane and I was able to see the site before it was open to the public.

I've had this link for some time.

I'll just have to get around to registering.

I think it is not necessarily meant for coin collectors from New Zealand, but rather colletors of coins issued in New Zealand. It's the origin of the coins, not the collectors, that the "New Zealand" in "New Zealand Coin Collectors Association Forum" refers to.
