This coins struck me by its raw beauty and unique character. Appears to be copper, lion and sun, with stars beneath. Reverse, Arabic inscriptions inside a floral hexagonal design. I know that the lion and sun have been used by the Persians, Mongols, Seljuqs, etc. Any ideas?

Nice specimen ! thanks for showing.
Looks like an Ilkhanid Fals. Most likely issued under the rule of Abu Sa'id.
