Any idea what the next bird will be in the Birds of Prey series and when they will be issued? So far we have the 2014 - Peregrine Falcon, 2014 - Bald Eagle, and the 2015 - Red-tailed Hawk.

I can't find any info - probably just a lack of googling skills.

According to this guy only 4 will be produced........

Only four coins will be produced in the Birds of Prey series, two in 2014 and two in 2015. The limited edition series builds on the early success of the Canadian Wildlife gold bullion which was also introduced in 2014 featuring the “Howling Wolf”.

Correct green18.. I want to share this from the RCM website, quote "The 2014-dated "Peregrine Falcon" kicks off the Mint's new four-coin, 1 oz., 99.99% pure silver bullion Canadian Birds of Prey series. Two coins per year will be released in 2014 and 2015." closed quote.. And, quote "The Mint's 2014-dated, "Howling Wolf" 99.999% pure gold bullion coin is the first in a new Call of the Wild three-coin series, to be released annually until 2016." closed quote.

I knew all of this info (thanks for posting though!), but was curious about the 2nd release in 2015. That's all.

APMEX says the fourth bird is the Great Horned Owl. Searching for their source of info.

Strange. I was looking for exactly this information over the weekend and also ended up In the same place. I'm kind of surprised RCM have not leaked info.

Yeah...just noticed the 404 too. Their site is behaving very oddly for me at this moment, so I am not sure what happened. In any case, the takeaway from the article for this thread is the bit I quoted.

APMEX has picture as well. I guess the announcement was made today at ANA.

Looking forward to getting this to complete the Birds of Prey series - but cannot help but wonder if the best view of the owl is with both tips of its wings chopped off? I think a side view would have looked better.

Set completed! Short stack of silver birds!

My pictures. Go somewhere else if you want good pictures.

    In display card.

I like these. Can you give me some idea of what I could expect to pay for them? Is there a high premium over the silver value?

I like your display card - my horned owl turned up earlier this week and I'm thinking I may borrow that sort of idea. Looks good.

Mine is the usual Canadian Mint quality. Not great but acceptable with a few milk spots. Yours?

@Hiddendragon Yes, there is quite a premuim - prices are always changing so go look for yourself, I am not going to do your shopping for you. ;)

@tulipone The display card (409 Black) and wood display stand (WDS4) are from www.airtiteholders.com. Got the direct fit airtite capsules somewhere else I can't remember.

I don't see any milk spots. They're in pretty good shape overall - I am pleased.

Just saw that a reverse proof peregrine coin is being sold for 2016. I wasn't able to find much info other than the reverse proofs will be a limited number. Anyone know about a continuation of this series with reverse proofs?
