Not sure if this is an error or wear. Any help would be appreciated

??? So if I throw a Lincoln cent in the dryer it comes out like this? How long do you think it would take?

    Yup. Google it :)
No idea how long it takes. I imagine it takes awhile.

I read somewhere like a year - but what I have a hard time believing is you cant hear it banging around in there? I know when a Bic lighter accidentally gets in the dryer it makes a heck of a bouncing noise!

I'll bet you can make one like this quicker by hammering it between thick leather or rubber.

    Is that like physical therapy?

    More like physical exercise.

I agree with you. I doubt any dryer would cause this.

    Th
is is the 1st time I ever saw a Lincoln cent look like this, especially from the late 70s. I don't know what caused it unless Insider is correct.

The reason I posted was the numbers and letter look fat is the bases way I can put it.
