It would take to long to Type out all the coins I have besides I'm not Real Kosher with shareing the complete content of my collection with everyone on a forum with public viewing. That's like inviting a robber for a house warming party.

Elli, hello again! I see you've popped up here too! :D
Below is a list of the Australian coins in my collection. It's just one country out of 160 that I have coins for.

    Australia

    1963 One Half Penny KM61
    1938 1 Penny KM36
    1966 1 Penny KM62

    1976 50 Cents KM68
    1970 10 Cents KM65
    1942 1 Florin KM40 .925 silver

rnealw: the above list is from a 66 page file listing all my world coins. It was built on LOTUS123. One time entry and easy to copy and paste. I keep 2 backup copies on CD in case the file gets eaten. How do you catalog your coins?

Probably, and not necessarily forum members.

When I started typing this post, this thread - which has a title that would attract predators snooping the internet - there had already been 903 views. .

Even with a high quality safe, and a working monitored alarm system, I don't give out my home address to anyone except trusted friends; and I never mention coins to any tradesmen, contractors, plumbers, etc., that come around.

True story. Who knows who is monitoring this forum. Hackers have been known to get into the governments computers, into hospital files, kids get into school files, etc. Hackers have been known to track you while your on the internet, place spy ware into your computer, find out just about anything they want. A few idiots I know have already suprized me by telling me they know when I'm on the internet, who and where I'm contacting. How they do this I don't know, but it is just one step closer to if you post what you have your asking for a visit. someone I know that works with companies computers for a living tells me as fast as he installs a spy detector, fire wall, virus scanner, etc., someone comes up with a new one.
Being a little old I recently started to try finding old friends from schools and previous work places. What really got me was with the slightest bit of information, how much I was able to find out about these people with the simplist people search in Gooble or Yahoo. Still trying to locate a girl I used to like about 50 years ago.
The moral of the story is to be carefull of what you say.
