OK guys, stop it. Self promotion is NOT allowed by rules in posts, and when noticed or reported will be removed. Further such will be infractions. NO Exceptions!
I called ANACS and inquired about "Early release" or First Struck and they said NO. I did drop off my 2 sets at the Baltimore show.
@jwitten Now your a mind reader . Now please back up what you just accused me of with just one post where I hinted people shouldn't be posting about these copies .
Sorry but that's nowhere near what I intended . I just meant what it said. I may not be the most fluent person in writing , but If I thought people shouldn't post about these I would have come flat out and say it . I always believed people should write about whatever they want whether I like it or not . One learns more in a more in a multi viewpoint thread .
Wait...did I just see two posters come to near-conflict, and instead communicate and defuse the situation? Be still, my heart.
I got too busy with the other guy who was calling me a bunch of things I can't type here, haha. I actually hate arguing, but when you make personal attacks about me and my character, I have to defend myself.
Got mine in the mail and I am very pleased with the quality. Thanks @dcarr. They fit in ASE airtites pretty nicely.
Just checked my ANACS order they have shipped (sooner than I expected) here are the grades: WINGED LIBERTY 10C 68 Antiqued STANDING LIB 25C 69 Antiqued WALKING LIB 50C 69 Antiqued WINGED LIBERTY 10C 69 Satin STANDING LIB 25C 69 Satin WALKING LIB 50C 70 Satin I'm not surprised at the 68, my fault. But it's the first 70 I've received on a Dan Carr item Certification #:4618668 Denomination:TOKEN Type:PATTERNS Date:2016 Mintmark:None Variety:DAN CARR WALKING LIB 50C Grade:MS 70 Superlative:None
Hate to say it but if these were for sale on the US mint's website, people would be going ape. These pics are now lodged in my mind for an eventual purchase. Too nice.
Rusty and 'witten are good folks........had no doubt that they'd sort it out. And for you folks waiting for a war of flames......sorry.....tune in next time.
Frosting-on-the-cake: These have the lowest-mintage mint marks: 'D' for the dime; no MM for the quarter; and an Obverse 'S' for the half-dollar.
Well here are mine. Like them, my only wish is that the strike was deeper showing more/sharper detail that I feel you see in the original design. They look just a little mushy and not quite sharp enough in my opinion. You can form your own opinion.
