Those look great. I ordered a satin set today.

 

Mine will soon be here.

 

I called ANACS and inquired about "Early release" or First Struck and they said NO.
I did drop off my 2 sets at the Baltimore show.

 

Yet you somehow feel you can hint that people should not be posting about these coins.

Sorry but that's nowhere near what I intended . I just meant what it said. I may not be the most fluent person in writing , but If I thought people shouldn't post about these I would have come flat out and say it . I always believed people should write about whatever they want whether I like it or not . One learns more in a more in a multi viewpoint thread .

Hate to say it but if these were for sale on the US mint's website, people would be going ape. These pics are now lodged in my mind for an eventual purchase. Too nice.

Frosting-on-the-cake: These have the lowest-mintage mint marks: 'D' for the dime; no MM for the quarter; and an Obverse 'S' for the half-dollar.

 

Well here are mine. Like them, my only wish is that the strike was deeper showing more/sharper detail that I feel you see in the original design. They look just a little mushy and not quite sharp enough in my opinion. You can form your own opinion.

 

At least he got Full Bands on the Merc.
