okbustchaser I may be old but I still appreciate a pretty bust Supporter

I don't know about crackout potential but in a retail setting I would expect to have to pay strong VF-35 money for it in that holder--if not XF-40. From the pics, I like it a lot.

NOTE: This is not a purchase offer...
    1. I already own an example
    2. It's my understanding that buy/sell discussions are verboten in this forum.

I wouldn't crack it.....You almost never see Busties in those pre-ANACS slabs and they have a whole other collector following by themselves, myself included. Very cool!

Plus when you factor in the cost of grading, variety attribution, postage to & from....the value increase would have to be significant to make it worthwhile.

I agree I would leave it in that holder. Nice coin.

Plus 1 nice old coin in a classy holder.....leave it .
As personally I would look at that coin in that holder long before any other one. I'm always walking a show looking for old ANACS slabs .

I winder if that con could go to a VF35, but I am not so sure of an XF40. It is a truly beautiful bust half

For the obverse, the clashing looked weak, although there were some ghost-like lines in the section behind the hair. What looked interesting was the snood (only oldsters like me can remember that girls liked to bag their back hair in one) coming down from the cap. Actually that seemed to have a noticeable depth, suggesting it was a lamination. And there was a similar smaller one below it. I did notice that the rim had clearly defined dots at 10:30 o'clock. These markings were missing at the bottom and deteriorated elsewhere. The reverse was too dark to make any judgment

I apologize for the picture quality, or lack there of, but the clashing is really strong on this one. There is a "C" above her cap and a very distinct star at the top of "50".

I have heard all of your guys advice and will indeed be leaving it in this slab... For old time sake ;)

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Even accounting for the variety, there is too much wear on that coin for a 40. It is an attractive coin, and I like it best at 30 (which was my first reaction, even before reading the rest of the comments).

If you get really lucky on a resubmit, you might get 35 (I doubt it, but maybe) - but I would never expect to see that coin in a 40 holder.

Nice bust half! I would leave it in the old ANACS holder.
