I'm surprised that no one has mentioned this song yet, AKA "Put Another Nickel In, in the nickelodeon..."
I was in the Cub Scouts for few months and the Merry Mailman aka Ray Heatherton, aka Joey Heatherton's father, took us to a demolition derby. He drove us there in a paddy wagon and we (they) were singing Tie Me Kangeroo Down. My father told me all this stuff about Ray and Joey. I had no idea who they were or even how to sing that song. But it was fun watching all those old cars crashing into each other.
