Toned mercs... GTG & Worth it?

Here you go. It's freaking tuff to macro pic a clash on these tiny and shiny little boogers. Couldn't get a clean pic that clearly shows parts of the other letters due to light bleaching and these are TINY but you can see hints of them if you look close. Even the D was hard to fully capture but I think I was able to get a good feel for it. Tiny & shiny are my photographic nemesis

You can clearly see a spike above the D from the S though so that's good I guess. And look just below and touching the S in states...

 

Nice photos, I think you nailed it! Definitely some other letters there, they are all partial and hard to make out, but we know what they are and where they came from. I can't help but wonder on all these I've run across; why do they polish he'll out of the obverse and totally skip the reverse??? It looks like inside of the D in United there is something going on as well....
