Apparently I am. There's a newly listed 1808 half cent, listed at $85 bin. It's clearly a bad counterfeit. I messaged the seller that his coin was a fake, and he responded by called me "a fake of a human being." And here I thought I was "keeping it real!" http://www.ebay.com/itm/1808-Half-C...020036?hash=item41a882d244:g:vpQAAOSwGYVXCvhw
@C-B-D Where have you been hiding? Try posting negative comments about coins on these forums and see what happens. Chris
Obviously, if the coin is fake, he doesn't know better or he doesn't care. He also has a smart mouth that he can run on EBay without fear of consequences. Remember: Any piece of trash can get an EBay account and sell.
I've reported as well . . . this seller is either a predator, or in denial, and unwilling to seek out the truth.
Hey, I made the list! Thank God I bowed out early and dodged the wishes of death he's been giving out.
I bet he didn't realize they were being posted to the listing. That or he's an unapologetic moron with a chip on his shoulder.
If I recall, the "default" choice when responding to a message is to display the answer; you have to choose not to have the question and answer displayed when you respond. I wonder if he even knows yet?
I would report them, but it's ma's ebay account, and i don't want her to question it. Should i make my own to report it? I was planning on it someday anyway.
How to report it? It's still not too late. I've won items before that eBay didn't allow the transaction to happen due to it being flagged as suspicious.
You can still pull up the completed auction, and the "Report" link is still below on the other side of the page from the "Description" and "Shipping and Payments" tab.
